The C310 S is powered by a commercial grade 28.9cc two-stroke petrol engine, built with a heavy-duty three-piece forged crankshaft for added reliability and a full anti-vibration system for superb operator comfort. For even greater convenience, the C310 S also features an easy to use recoil starter with a Soft Start system to help guarantee ease of operation. A high-capacity 0.75 litre see-through fuel tank, meanwhile, is designed to allow you to quickly see when the trimmer needs refuelling, thus making it much easier to manage your working day.
Perfect for precision trimming of edges and borders, but also effective when clearing larger patches of long grass, the C310 S is supplied as standard with an efficient dual nylon line cutting head. As well as featuring a tough debris shield to deflect grass clippings and other detritus thrown up during operation, the trimmer head also incorporates a handy quick line feed system; simply tap the cutting head against the ground and the nylon line will be advanced to an optimal working length. Moreover, to facilitate quick and easy servicing, the trimmer head is fitted with Shindaiwa’s Speed-Feed® 450 system, making it reassuringly simple to re-load the cutting line when required.
